Just a quick note to let you know that I have populated all of the family tree lineage that I have records for, in the main genealogy tree. The rest is going to be up to you to help with any mistakes and additional family members that have not been entered. Also Birth dates, marriage partners, last names and photographs. Please help us to fill in the blanks. All you needs to do to help is to use the FORUM (Family Communications). You will then be able to ‘ADD TOPIC’ under any of the current threads.

Don’t hesitate to share with as many family and friends as you know through Facebook to join us and stay informed. Building a wide community of friends and family helping each other and helping ourselves to navigate these days and these tough times, is paramount to ensure we look after each other with kindness and compassion. The more skills we can share, the stronger our unity becomes and with morality and a kindness that is our signature, we will not only shine a light, but we will help others to discover the light that shines within them

The latest Pereira family Reunion went off well at Hakanoa Street and the minutes are posted into the forum for your perusal. With a strong committee in formation, we have a lot to look forward to as we bring our families closer together after quite a long time between family reunions. For the benefit of our children, our future and our heritage, we will once again bond in the spirit of our parents, grandparents and great grandparents who initiated the traditions that we hold so dear today.

I have undertaken a project to create commemorative coins, the first in the form of a keychain that will be a token reminder for all our family of our connection to each other. Any sales will help to fund the ongoing maintenance costs of the website and social media extensions. Funds will also help to provide for the costs involved in the maintenance of a comprehensive MY HERITAGE genealogical histograph and DNA matching investigation. With a strong Y chromosome that is passed from father to son, I am able to represent the vast majority of our family’s historic DNA strain, being the eldest son,  of the eldest son, of the eldest son of the eldest son of the eldest son of Antonio Pereira Vitorino de Barros.

Should any profits be generated, I will be locking them into an investment vehicle, serving as a type of mutual fund. (More on this if anyone is interested … just send me an email)

For the first run, I am looking to create approximately 100 numbered units of  ‘House of Pereira’ legacy metalic keychain/coins.  I would appreciate if you could let me know if you are interested so that I can get an idea of numbers. The coin/keychain will cost approximately AU$25 including postage

Additionally, I will be creating Legacy Coins for the Sons and daughters of Lafaele and Rovine Pereira, beginning with the Sipiliano Family Lineage. These coins will have the faces of Sipiliano and Elisapeta 3D embosed on one side and the House of Pereira Emblem on the other. Similar to your typical Coins of exchange. These will also be in a keychain format so that you will be able to group them together on a single keychain

Specific numbers can be reserved, but due to the clash of favorite/lucky numbers, we might need to auction them. We can discuss this in more detail at a later date.

I will keep you updated on numbers, artwork and progress and wish to assure you that I am completely open to advice and suggestions, but it will be time-limited to ensure the expeditious delivery of these heirlooms.

Love to you all, and have a safe and happy day

Take Care …  Fā soifua
